"Driving with a blood alcohol level concentration of .08 or higher is illegal in every state. Yet we continue to see far too many people suffer debilitating injuries and loss of life as a result of impaired driving."
I couldn't have said it better myself, but these are words from the Florida Highway Patrol. They continue, "This careless disregard for human safety must stop. To help ensure that happens, Florida and Georgia's law enforcement agencies are dedicated to arresting impaired drivers wherever and whenever they find them."
Officers this Labor Day weekend are participating in the 17th annual "Hands Across the Border"--an event where law enforcement agencies from Florida and Georgia work together to encourage safe driving. They are especially on the lookout for drunk driving, speeding , and failure to wear seat belts.
Drive safely this holiday weekend, but be careful for those who don't. If you are injured in a Florida car accident, contact me before talking to the insurance companies. I will respond to your email as soon as I receive it--even though the office is closed.
My law office has been fighting for those injured in Florida car accidents, motorcycle accidents, work comp injuries, and other personal injury matters for over 53 years. Insurance companies have attorneys working for them, so should you!
